Role Overview

Janus Soft is seeking an expert Full Stack Software Developer to drive mission-critical solutions within the intelligence community’s cloud environment. In this high-impact role, you will own the end-to-end product development lifecycle—from conceptualization and user-centered design to robust backend implementation. You will work within a cross-functional team to build sophisticated tools that directly support intelligence analysis, ensuring that every interface is intuitive, scalable, and built to the highest technical standards.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Clearance: Must hold an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

• Full Stack Expertise: Proven professional experience in developing, customizing, and deploying complex applications for intelligence analysis.

• Backend Mastery: Demonstrated experience with Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS services (specifically SQS).

• Frontend Proficiency: Solid foundation in modern web development using CSS, HTML, and vanilla JavaScript.

• Design Excellence: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, web standards, typography, color theory, and usability testing.

• Version Control: Professional experience utilizing Git for rigorous version control and issue tracking.

Highly Desired Skills

• Hands-on experience with full-stack development specifically within the Sponsor’s cloud environment.

• Expert-level containerization experience using Docker and Kubernetes for microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with the Sponsor’s proprietary data environment and mission-specific analytic workflows.

• Proven ability to analyze complex user needs and translate them into structured, innovative software solutions.

• Exceptional coordination and collaboration skills for working in high-tempo, cross-functional environments.
