Mandatory Skills

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

• Core Java & EE Development: Expert knowledge of Core Java (Java 17+), JVM internals, Jakarta Servlet API, and Quartz Job Scheduling using pure Java patterns (explicitly excluding Spring Boot).

• PKI & Cryptography (Strong): Hands-on experience with Java Cryptography Architecture (JCA), encryption algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC), X.509 certificate parsing/validation/chaining, OpenSSL, and managing custom PKI-based tools.

• Identity, Access & Linux Admin: Deep experience with LDAP authentication/authorization, SSH/Putty integration, custom Linux command-line tools, and system administration.

• Database & Application Server Tier: Experience configuring Apache Tomcat (11+) and Apache HTTPD, paired with MariaDB/MySQL (10+) utilizing JDBC, raw DAO patterns, and custom connection pooling without external frameworks.

• Secure Web & API Development: Proven expertise building secure REST APIs using application certificates and full-stack web interfaces (JSP, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON/XML).

Desired Skills

• Practical experience integrating Python into enterprise Java web applications.

• Demonstrated ability writing custom Confluence plugins.

• Familiarity with Windows Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) for managing enterprise PKI certificate lifecycles.
