Janus Soft is seeking a distinguished Senior Software Developer to lead full-lifecycle development for Project: UUE. This is a high-impact role centered on creating innovative, interactive web, video, and multimedia training products for the intelligence community.
As a senior technical pillar on this project, you will oversee the transition of complex training requirements into polished multimedia applications, SharePoint environments, and high-performance websites. Beyond traditional development, you will serve as a subject matter expert in Identity and Access Management (IAM), ensuring that our enterprise tools—including MFA solutions and Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC)—are robust and secure. We are looking for a veteran developer who can bridge the gap between deep technical execution and mentorship, guiding non-technical stakeholders through the complexities of AWS and Linux-based ecosystems.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience executing professional software development activities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
Core Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and JavaScript.
Infrastructure: Deep expertise in Linux environments, Apache Webserver, and Apache Tomcat.
AWS Expertise: Proven experience with AWS infrastructure security, access controls, and core services (S3, EC2).
Identity & Security: Extensive experience configuring and maintaining Enterprise Application Auditing Tools, MFA Solutions (OAuth), and RBAC frameworks.
Automation: Proficiency in Bash scripting and developing orchestration processes for IAM services and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
Development Best Practices: Mastery of version control (GitHub), unit testing, and debugging within VS Code.
Migration: Demonstrated experience migrating on-premises services to AWS using industry-standard migration tools.
Legacy Support: Experience maintaining Java and PHP applications within Windows environments.
Build Tools: Proficiency with Maven or Gradle for dependency management and build automation.
Secret Management: Hands-on experience utilizing AWS Secrets Manager for secure credential handling.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to teach technical concepts (GitHub, Linux, AWS) to non-technical individuals.
